a) To function for promotion and advancement of Veterinary Public Health in their different branches in India.
b) To arrange and organize lectures, debates, discussion and seminars etc. for diffusion of knowledge.
c) To publish useful literatures, magazines, etc for orienting members and the public about the developments in Veterinary Public Health.
d) To alleviate the sufferings of animals and persons associated with animals & their product.
e) To collect donation and subscriptions for the purpose of the Association.
f) To do all such acts deeds, matter and things as may be deemed incidental or conducive to the foregoing objects.
g) To suggest improvement on Veterinary Public Health Services in private and public sectors.
h) To look into the appropriate utilization pf Public Health Veterinarians for the benefit of social, physical and economical upliftment.
